Round 6 of the MBKC championship started out dry for the practice sessions but come race day the tables had turned and the rain transformed the track into a wet and greasy obstacle for the races ahead. Bradley soon got into his grove and started to produce some great results in the heats. Heat 1 saw Brad take the win by 5 seconds which in the cadet class is a very impressive result. Bradley then went on to take 6th and 4th in the remaining heats which placed him on the second row in 3rd place for the final. The rain which had been consistently falling all day had now began to yield slightly but the track was still far too wet to consider making any changes. As the lights turned green Bradley set about moving into the top spot. By lap 4 he had taken second and was right on the bumper of the 1st placed driver. Lap after lap Bradley bided his time waiting for the right opportunity to take the lead and on lap 8 the move was made. With just 4 laps remaining, he held on with some great defensive moves on the last lap to take the win for the second time this year.
MBKC ROUND 5
After last month’s excellent performance and proving his ability to be a consistent front runner, Bradley was tipped as one of the favourites to win again in round 5. The heats went well producing a 2nd and two 3rd places, putting Bradley in 3rd place for the final race. As the race got underway Bradley kept his 3rd place position but with the front two working together and beginning to pull away, Bradley was left to fight his own battle for 3rd. The end result came right down to the wire with Bradley crossing the line in 4th place, which now moves him into the lead of the championship, a full 28 points ahead of 2nd place.
MBKC ROUND 4
With some great results coming in thick and fast, Bradley was feeling confident for the 4th round of the MBKC championship. Heat one saw Bradley take a brilliant win but it was heat 2 where the real action was going to happen. Starting way down in 16th place he drove a storming drive and cut his way through the field lap after lap to finish in a fantastic 2nd place! With these two great results in the bad, Brad took his confidence into heat 3 and took yet another win to qualify on pole for the Final.
The lights changed to green and Brad emerged from turn 1 holding onto his 1st place. The race from this point onwards was fairly clean cut having only lost 1st for a brief lap, he took the win by 1.8 seconds, taking the maximum points from the weekend.
